You have recently started blogging and found out that you really enjoy it. But did you know there are ways to earn money from your personal blog? There are, and these tips will help you know where to begin:
Mention something specific in your blog title.
You want your blog to immediately attract attention, and the more specific it is, the more it is likely to do that. Think about this: there are hundreds, if not thousands, of blogs online about such generic subjects as making money online, buying and selling on online auction sites, parenting . . . just about any subject you can think of. The more specific your blog title is, the more likely it is that someone will read about it.
For example, you want to write a personal blog about your AT&T wireless coverage because you were able to get a signal at a time when you really needed one. Instead of making your title something like “My Wireless Coverage is Great!” say “My AT&T Wireless Coverage is great!” If nothing else, someone will read it just to see why you think that.
Make it timely. Nothing is more frustrating than to come on a blog title that looks as though it may contain information you can use, only to find out that the information is so outdated and useless. Write about current happenings and use words in your title such as “recent,” “latest,” and other phrases to let your readers know that the information is up-to-date.
Branch out with your subject matter. You may enjoy only writing about certain things, but by branching out you can reach more people, thus generating more income. And, who knows, you may find out that you’re interested in more than one thing and you can start blogging about that, too.
